I am Marijke, and there are few things that make me happier than to create. I have a certificate in primary education, but after years of not being "in the right place", I decided to do what I really want, so now I'm studying Graphic Design. My wish is to work as a graphic designer for a magazine or a graphic art firm, and to be an illustrator. I also have a passion for theatre and I would love to specialize myself in theatre design and theatre education as well.

Making drawings has always been my nr. 1 hobby. I used to draw mainly fairies and female figures, using just grey pencils, check it out in the Fairy Drawings 2005.
I haven't been drawing or creating much since then, but I restarted my hobby during the summer holidays 2010. I have been experimenting with new techniques, such as using watercolour pencils and outlining my drawings with black fineliner pens.
